Sweet Bakes Chicago LLC is a cottage bakery located on the northwest side of Chicago. We currently serve the northwest city and neighboring suburbs.
Enjoying treats with food allergies can be a challenge. Sweet Bakes Chicago is a Tree Nut and Peanut FREE Facility. We take very special care to be sure that all of our ingredients are not only free of all nuts but also not processed in a facility that also processes nuts.
We also have gluten, dairy, and sugar free options available for select products. Please contact us with any questions — we want to help.

About Me
My name is Sara Williams. I have been baking and decorating treats for over 20 years. I have taken classes with Collette Peters of the Food Network, as well as multiple online classes taught by world renowned decorators and pastry chefs. I first started decorating in high school just to pass time in the summer and quickly grew to love it.
I am married and have two children, so I’m currently working out of my home in order to spend more time with my family. In 2015, my daughter was diagnosed with a tree nut allergy after having a bad reaction to a pistachio. I quickly realized the need for safe and delicious treats and made Sweet Bakes Chicago a nut free bakery. As the business grows, and my kids get older, I want to expand into a shop outside of my home.
We specialize in cakes, cookies, donuts, pies and custom event treats. We carefully select ingredients that are free from nuts and sourced from nut-free manufacturers whenever possible. If you have specific dietary concerns (gluten, dairy, sugar), please let us know — we offer select options and will always work with you to create something safe and delicious.
